Validation and the W3C, What does your website say about you?

Validation

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is the organsiation in charge of creaqting the rules for the workings of web pages. One of their main objectives is ensuring pages are valid XHTML so the pages will be accessible to all.

This is more important then it may seem as two pages can look identical in on each the more popular browsers (Firefox, Internet explorer, Opera, Safari etc. howver they could be coded completely differently dissalowing a coherent page to be supplied by say for example a speech browser.

The upshot of this is a large number of web sites being unaccessible to a numer of users.
